Total paid is $500 after which your license is secured and permanently yours.
Whenever you make either a license sale to another person or a residential discount contract energy sale the amount you receive is 50% of your contract payment. Thus if what is due to you is $100 then $50 will go towards your license financing and $50 will go to you (or you can put it all towards your license fee).
If a payment is not made on the due date (30 days after the previous payment) the financing is considered to be in default. If your financing is in default the remaining 50% of the referral payments that are due are put towards your license until it is made current. If your financing is in default when the license price goes up then the fees you have paid minus any payments that have been made to you will be refunded. The license price goes up based on the number of licenses sold in each price category. see compensation. There is no notification of the number of licenses sold and any pending price change You can see the price change on the states page. In the end you will get a 100% refund.
How many referrals or sales do you need to pay for your license?
If you referred 5 other energy business owners (in your state) who paid the full $500 up front then you would get $100 for each which totals $500.
If you sold 3 residential energy licenses (in your state) in which two purchased the 25% discount at $1000 and one purchased the 15% discount at $500 you would receive $500.
Also you will receive payments on whoever your referral’s refer and their and their referral’s residential end energy user contract sales which would reduce the number of direct referrals you need to make to pay off the license.
If you refer those who get financing then you will receive 20% of each payment (the $125) which is $25 of which $12.50 will go to you and $12.50 towards your financing and (50%) of 10% of your referrer’s referral payments.
